A series of sound landscapes and projections that came out of the workshops lead by Dr Rob Mullender -Ross.
Artists include: Rob Mullender-Ross - Adrian Pritchard – Diane Curran – Omani Hanmer
Exhibition continues until the 30th November 10am – 4pm Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
Dr Rob Mullender is fascinated with sound, and its ability to mediate and make meaning within multiple contexts. He works with sound within its broadest definitions (not ‘just’ as music); a sensory, active, social medium, revealing different ways of engaging with people and places.
These workshops engaged people in building a sense of place through sound recording, listening, narrative and composition. Participants learned how to weave them into stories, impressions, histories, textures etc; creating works which build a sense of place through sound.
